Orobosa cash umuakpero (born 6 nov 1996), better known by his stage name robo, is a Nigerian rapper and hip hop recording artist.Early life and music career
Robo was born and raised in Warri, Delta State. He grew up as the last child in a family of four, and took a strong interest in music at a young age. While a student at Ths DSC, he engaged himself in rap battles and developed a friendlier relationship with like-minded students, which led to the formation of the hip hop group SWizz-Boiz. The group soon began performing at various talent shows in Delta State.[1] Music remained their unmatched and true passion. In a 2012 interview said"the first song I recorded at school was used with my school fees and lesson fee to pay for the instrumentals and remember always missing school because I had to record.
After graduating from high school,robo relocated to London but relocated back to Lagos to pursue he's career.hes a student of aptech. He derived his stage name Robo from his real name and middle name. Shortly after he moved to back to Lagos, he continued to record music; his song "BDH" captured the attention of BLAZON, who signed him to his Entertainment Company in 2009.[3] By 2010, he began to attract media attention after his cover version of "rat" went viral on the internet. He later released "this party", featuring peary, a single of. In January 2011, robo released remix of "bDH"; an accompanying music video was released shortly after.
Robo collaborated with shuunbebe on "Fine".
In 2015, robo floated his imprint "Exotic nation" which houses 02jay as well as talented producer 02 Beatz. On 4 September 2013,robo ent welcomed a hand offered from "Blazon ent" for both parties to partner with the end-result of taking Robo and his brand out of Africa and sharing his brilliance with the rest of the world. Robo collaborated with 02jay on "church gurls",the video comes soon.....
