This activity took place on the 7th of jan 2015 1pm at the school lecture theater (LT1).All aspirants and the judges and staffs were seated and the mc for this important occasion was buchi from the algorithm dept.The judges
and the chairman advice the aspirant and also the audience so as to secure
the success of the occasion
.Miss Okoro Rachael of computer science dept an aspirant for the post of financial secretary,she spoke for about 2mins about the sector of financial secretary .in the history of Fupre election it is known to us that no female aspirant has been recorded before now,Rachael being the first is a sign of a new beginning for Fupre.Rachael responded quiet well to questions from both the judges and the audience.
The next was Evans Emmanuel also from computer science dept for the post of the financial secretary and he made his vision clear to us and also distinguish himself from other while responding to some questions,his replies were a bit wise and firm.
Ofohaorji Noble of chemical engineering dept was next, who is also an aspirant for the post of financial secretary and he won the heart of the audience very well with some enticing words.Questions were asked but he refer to then as cheap questions and made alot of reference which caught the crowd alot,he spoke with confidence and made some promises.
The next post was that of the director of Social,and George odionye was the first man to speak first ,he was fill with what fuprite refer to as ginger ,he has a good reputation when you talk about the SUG body.he made promises that cause the crowd to roar .he was asked a few questions that didn't sound easy but he responded to them smoothly and calmly but sometimes made the audience sound opposing
The second aspirant for the post of Director of Social was a well known person socially and otherwise and goes by the name Ezeozobor Chris Nathan popularly known as NATTY of computer science dept,he is clearly the audience favorite and he refer to the social life of fupre as dead which is so obvious,he made clear reference to it.Questions were asked that provoked the audience but nathan made no flop with his words and the crowd respond positively by shouting and Nathan felt confidence in him and he showed it with slang and he exhibited swag .I am so sure fupre deserves a man like this.when responding to question he mentioned that he is an artiste and made promises of turning things around
Next was the post of secretary general and Anozie Micheal came first and made some promises and he spoke a bit brief ,he was asked questions later on but Micheal did respond to them briefly.I believed he is not a person of much word ,believed that he is of more deed than words
AKP Benedict came out next for the post of secretary General and he spoke calmly and with confidence and drop some points also and made the function and duties of the post clear but didn't win much of the crowd and got no questions from them
The next was the post for the vice president and Onni Joseph came firstly.this young man is refered to as "grammar Lord" by fuprite.He is clearly a debate master but seems to win the crowd a bit this time around.Questions were asked but didn't move this man at all.He is quiet a person for this post
The next on the debate line was Mr U. Valentine for the post of the vice president ,this man didnt get the crowd at all,and they opposed him alot and even the chairman spoke about it and was opposed also.
. The next was an unopposed aspirant for the post of welfare Director ,he caught the crowd with a lot of agility he possessed ,he is indeed of a kind and with no opposition for this post,there is no denial that the post his own.Some questions came but he stood firm to respond to them and the audience refer to him as "OPREPRE"
The next set of aspirant called was for the post of director of sport and he is an unopposed aspirant ,unlike Mr oprepre, Mr didn't win the crowd,but sine he is unopposed he probably have gotten the post already.Questions came he gave good response also in that process he made some promises too.
Next is Mr ahmed for the post of Asst. Welfare director,he spoke quite Good ,since he is unopposed he spoke briefly
It was time for the Aspirant for the presidential post,Mr Sindi Mathias popularly known as SMP from ALGORITM dept.(Maths and comp sci) came up first,he is the student favourite indeed.left alone for the student,he is the president already.He spoke with no fear even when questions were throw at him.SMP is indeed a man for the post when looking from the view of the student.The shouting was too much that they threatened that MR SMP would be disqualified if the noise proceeded,but SMP debated firmly tho,even the questions were no match for his standard.
next for this category was Mr Victor Ovoradua aka VC from the dept. Of Electrical Engineering ,he was quite good at debating and good a little of the crowd questions where asked he responded well
Next for this Category was Mr Osigbemhe Leo ,he's quite smart buh didn't catch the crowds like the others in this same category,questions where thrown to him but he stood a bit firm while returning his answers
Buchi an aspirant for the post of president came lastly with an outstanding debate but with no crowd to back him up,by dis tym the hall was partially empty but still Buchi said something.with this debate we have at least an insight of what will be happening tomorrow during the FUPRE 2015ELECTION ,ClIMAX360 as well as Egbine collins Maximun and Yemite Neye wishes the aspirants good luck on the Election tomorrow
